Top Bracing Overhaul - Adjustment

Hydraulic-Mechanical Top bracings are installed between the engine and the ship’s hull to detune the natural frequencies, likely to occur during normal operation of the engine.

 

Our service engineers have many experience for overhauling of top bracings including with alignment, adjustment and start-up works. Furthermore; recondition of hydraulic top bracing piston and cylinder can be ensured to our customers.

 

Scope of Top Bracing Works:

 

• Inspection and overhauling of all top bracing parts with new seals

• Hydraulic system start up, preperation and adjustment of hydraulic valves

• Top bracing cylinder alignment and vertical position adjustment

• Accumulator (if installed) re-charging and pressure adjustment

• Hydraulic valve unit performance test and solenoid valve test

• Preparation of final service report for class approval
