Alpha Lubricator - Mechanical Cyl Lubricator

According to the new MARPOL Annex VI ultra-low-sulphur fuel oil regulations come into force as of 1 January 2020 ; all vessels that operate outside Emission Control Areas (ECAs) will be required to use fuel oil with a maximum sulfur content of 0.5% while vessels operating within ECAs will be required to use fuel oil with a maximum sulfur content of 0.10%. 

 

This change makes it even more important than before to know what is bunkered and to keep the crew informed on specific challenges and the appropriate actions. Careful monitoring of the cylinder condi­tion must also be carried out and followed by the proper action.

Condition of Cylinder lubrication especially for two stroke marine diesel engines has even more importance than before.  We ensure our customers below specified works in line with manufacturer instructions:

• Alpha Lubricator System Health Check including timing adjustment, feed rate adjustment, angle encoder inspection and adjustment, software download-upgrade, index transmitter adjustment.

• Mechanical Cylinder Lubricator Overhaul

• Mechanical Lubricator timing and feed rate adjustment

• Troubleshooting of all cylinder lubrication system and cylinder condition.
